Mauao Walking Tracks

Some of the most popular walking tracks  in the Tauranga area are on Mauao, the mountain that rises above the Mount Maunganui Beachside Holiday Park.

For the energetic, the track to the summit rewards with spectacular views on a clear day while the base track meanders more leisurely around the base of the mountain.
There are also plenty of other walks both leisurely and more demanding for those wanting more of a challenge, in the wider Tauranga and Bay of Plenty region.
